Ion BORDIAN, Legal Intern at PBP Law Firm and LL.B. Candidate at the European Law School, Maastricht University, under the guidance of Andrei BRICEAC, has authored a legal analysis examining the compliance of the Moldovan Football Federation arbitration regulations with the standards established by the European Court of Human Rights concerning the independence and impartiality of arbitration committees.
The paper addresses important issues related to sports arbitration, procedural fairness, football governance, and fair trial guarantees under Article 6 ECHR.
Before pursuing legal studies, Ion BORDIAN distinguished himself in professional football, including experience within the academy of Torino FC, Italy, and appearances for the Moldova national under-17 and under-19 football team.
